The years we’ve spent in executive search revealed the same friction points – for both the search teams and the companies hiring.

To comprehensively discover and identify the entire addressable market of high quality, executive candidates that met a specific list of required experiences and qualifications simply took too long. And was too manual.

We have tried nearly every sourcing and research tool out there.

But the process still required stitching together fragmented data from multiple sources to get a full, comprehensive view of the candidate.

Even though there’s more data available now than ever before – it still took hours of expert curation to turn it into something actionable and concise.

The job wasn’t just about finding names – it was about applying judgment, context, building trust, and presenting candidates with confidence.

It can be slow, labor-intensive, costly, inconsistent, and reliant on the expertise of whoever happened to be doing the work.

And, most “modern” sourcing tools were built around keyword matching or Boolean searches, which couldn’t capture the nuance or true, comprehensive context of a candidate’s experience.

What we wanted didn’t exist.

  • A system that leveraged all the data, both internal and external.
  • A platform that applied what we did well—how to assess, validate, and explain fit – but did it in minutes, not weeks.
  • A tool that doesn’t just surface & discover new candidates across the addressable market, but shows exactly why they’re a fit, with logic and transparency.  Context matters.

So, we flipped the model and built it ourselves.
